Well Done to the Draco Explorer unit who participated in the Southern 50 Challenge up in the Chilterns on Valentines weekend.
They managed a respectable 12th place out of 45 teams recording a time of 7hrs 15 minutes only 1 hour 16 minutes behind the winners.
Show some appreciation to the team when you next see Jas, Sophia, Drew and Colin.
Those of you who are not aware this event is arranged every year and runs on valentines weekend with 3 distances, 30km, 50km or 50miles in 24hours. A number of our Leaders/Young Leaders and Scouts have made up the finish team crew. However this year some decided to take on the challenge for the 30km.
