After Lunch we had Robert Gould come down and arrange some games with a rugby Ball (except for a select few leaders who took a moment to layback and relax!) , for this we hiked to the plain and the sun shined throughout. After the rugby games which everyone seemed to enjoy it was a hike back to camp. Just in time before the rain started again.

After dinner we had a few games of Bingo before supper and the very tired cubs headed off to bed.
Sunday, we were joined by the beavers in the morning and then it was onto the activities.

We had Kite Making and flying, Archery, Bottle rocket decoration and launches, and paper planes.

Everyone then had a go at fire lighting, Smoors (chocolate, toasted marshmallows and digestive biscuits) during this time the explorers built their bivvy shelter. There was then a hike for the beavers and cubs and geocaching for the scouts.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
