British Open Sporter Championships 2016

Last weekend Lauren Batchelor from Draco Explorers took part in the British Open Sporter Air Rifle Championships as a member of the National Scout Rifle Squad and representing Hampshire at Bisley.
Lauren attained 9th place, scoring 2 Personal bests during the championships, which were 299 and 308. The latter being the main Championship entry.
This is a great achievement as this was the first major competition Lauren has entered outside of the Scouting world, so to achieve a personal best and then beat it again in the same competition with the pressures that this places on any shooter shows that her preparation, practice and determination has paid off. Well done Lauren.
