Beetle Drive

Date: 3rd Mar 2013 Author: Scout Websites

Saturday night saw the beetle drive take place at the Scout HQ. 45 adults and children took part in trying to make beetle shapes by rolling dice with the highest scores and lowest scores in each round changing tables.

Half way through the evening, everyone stopped to enjoy a supper of fishcake and chips or sausage and chips. There was a raffle too. At the end of the evening, there were prizes for the boy and girl with the highest score.

There were also prizes for the lowest score for a adult and child as well as an overall top score which was won by Bagheera from the Cub pack. Everyone really enjoyed them.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
