21st Winter Camp & Sextant Trophy

Tents all went up ok,

a video and hot drinks, then to bed. Cooked breakfast this morning followed by some pioneering. Dough made all ready for cardboard ovens ready for pizzas.

Cardboard ovens and pizza went well. Some good looking pizzas too

Split into 3 teams then went on a trail, looking for coded messages. Last message collected back at HQ and then to crack the code. “Scouts Moto Be Prepared” well done winning team and for the others for cracking the code. Evening meal was Chilli and Rice cooked on the alter fires. Time for another video. Then off for a good night’s sleep. One team up for sextant on Sunday. It was a cold night, frost on the inside of the tent routers and a small dusting of snow on the tents.

Everyone slept well and eventually got up for breakfast, pack up camp and the pioneering work hang the tents to dry and a little kick around.

Well done to all it was a good camp.
