21st Romsey Maintenance & Grounds Day – Sunday 17th May

Dear Parents and Carers,

We are organising a Maintenance & Grounds Day at our HQ and would love your support in helping us improve and refresh our space for all of our young people.

Date: Sunday  17th May
Time: HQ open from 10:30am onwards
Location: The Peter Digby Scouting Centre, Nursling

You are very welcome to join us for the whole day or just for a few hours—any time you can give will make a real difference.

The day will involve a range of jobs around the HQ and grounds, including:

• Cleaning and tidying indoor spaces
• Painting
• Gardening and weeding
• Power washing the exterior and surrounding areas
• General repairs and improvements

If you have a particular trade, skill, or area of expertise (e.g. DIY, painting, gardening, maintenance), please indicate this using the relevant column on Online Scout Manager (OSM) when signing up. This will help us plan the day effectively and make the best use of everyone’s skills.

When signing up via OSM, please also indicate:

• Whether you plan to attend for the full day or
• The times you expect to be there

This will help us ensure we provide the right amount of refreshments throughout the day.

We will have refreshments available as a small thank you for your support.

Your help really does make a huge difference in keeping our HQ a safe, welcoming and enjoyable space for our young people.
