39th National Scout Rifle Championships 2015

21st Romsey Scouts and Draco Explorers attended the National Scout Rifle Championships for the 2nd time.

Overall in the Main Air Rifle Competition we achieved 21st Place out of 85 teams, for the Main Air Pistol we achieved 26th out of 85.

Well done to everyone who attended, some good scores from all of you.

The biggest Highlight for 21st Romsey Scout Group was the award of 2 Trophies 1 to Alex Lovett and the other to Nathan Humphries both achieved most improved for their age categories. Well done to both of you for the hard work and attention you have put in to achieve this great result. In addition to this Luke Bowers shot Full Bore Rifle for the first time and came 5th in the competition, with this result came an offer for him to spend a free day shooting with Surrey Rifle Club, well done Luke.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
